Got back from Canada today. Lots of fun--I'll tell people about it if they ask nicely. I got my phone jack fixed finally, so my internet's up again (it's not as complicated as it sounds--the phone jack popped away from the plastic casing and I had to unscrew it and pop it back in. That's difficult when your phone jack is stuck behind a giant maple desk.) I'm looking at my bridesmaid photo. I really had bad hair. It's a little better now (about a foot longer), but Martin from Latvia has discovered the joys of messing up girls' hair to the point of harassment. Also of paparazzi photography. I've spent more time running from cameras the last few days.

Kippers is still not really walking. I got my parents to take her to the vet while I was gone, and apparently the vet has no idea what's wrong with her. She says it might be a neurological disease or something. For all I know it's something they've never discovered before. Maybe Kip will have the dubious distinction of having a disease named after her. "Kippington's Syndrome" or something. I'm not sure what to do. I'm just glad she doesn't really seem to be in any pain or anything--she just is a bit stationary. It's like she has no balance at all. I feel bad about having to be in class all day and not getting to give her much attention. I tried to make it up to her by holding her for half an hour or so and treating her to copious amounts of Talking Heads.

Note to self: Listen to The Bravery. Anybody know what they sound like?
